PRACTICE AREAS
Mr. Favaro is one of the founders of the firm.  He has practiced law in Solano He has been practicing since 1952 in all North Bay Counties, both in civil and municipal law, and is an experienced civil litigator.  He is is admitted to all the courts of the State of California and to the U.S. District Court (Northern District of California), His civil practice is concentrated in the following areas. He retired from the firm in 2006, but still serves as Of Counsel.

Construction:  Representation of contractors in multi-party public works and private contract cases.  Representation of property owners in construction defect litigation.

Business Litigation:  Prosecution and defense of breach of contract and collection actions; representation of automobile dealers.

Probate, Wills and Trusts:  Administration of decedents' estates through court or private proceedings. Drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents. Representation in probate and trust disputes.

Guardianships and Conservatorships:  Representation in guardianship and conservatorship proceedings.

Professional Memberships and Activities:

He is the past Chairman of the Solano County Democratic Central Committee, a past member of the Vallejo Civil Service Commission and active in various local community organizations.  He has been active at the administrative level of amateur sports, both national and international, for over 30 years.  (Chief Counsel, Amateur Athletic Union, 1973-1980; General Counsel and Secretary of United States Swimming, Inc., 1980-1992; General Counsel for United States Aquatic Sports, 1980-1992; a member of various committees of United States Olympic Committee; currently General Counsel for United States Sports Insurance, Inc.; currently member of six-member international panel on Doping Control for FINA, the International Federation for Aquatic Sports.) He is a member of the State Bar of California and the Solano County Bar Association (President, 1960), served as Judge Pro Tem, Superior Court for two years, and is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts in California.
