Ms. Sobczak became Of Counsel to Favaro, Lavezzo, Gill, Caretti & Heppell in 2008. She is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and California, and worked from 1988 through 1997 in Chicago, Illinois. She is admitted to all courts in the State of California. Ms. Sobczak acts as a reporter for the American Bar Association's Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section at the annual Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning sponsored by the University of Miami. She has been certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law. Her civil practice is concentrated in the following areas:
